A few cool shots in the new Snowboard Mag. I spent a bunch of time last winter around Revy and Golden, and these photos remind me of sick times!. Jeff Curley shot the photos.

This one I'm only the main frame. The other 2 frames are of my homie Ave, and some other fellow.

There is a new snow blog at push.ca, where Rouleau just conducted an interview with Dano about..things:

I try to shoot with Dano as much as I can, and these photos are from 3 different times and 3 different places. I'd say that jib shot is about 20 stairs with the kink, I just didn't bother digging the stairs out..haha

Here's a 2007 video clip, footage from Standard Films. Winter 2007 in Whistler was a great time in the grand scheme.

I'm Dave Short and my profession is snowboarder.

My very supportive sponsors are The North Face www.thenorthface.com and Jones Snowboards www.jonessnowboards.com />

Here are a few photos that have been published in the last lil while. ENJOY

(above)This is a shot in the fall 2007 Snowboard Canada. It is in an article pertaining to rails vs. pow. My quote in the bottom right of the frame says something along the lines of "Powder has a short shelf life, there are finite amounts of it. It's a valuable resource, like oil and diamonds. Without powder, I probably wouldn't snowboard."

The above photo just ran in the wallpaper section of the April '08 Transworld Snow. This cliff is in a zone near Whistler that has since been closed to snowmobilers, which means the only way to access this cliff now is by hiking in, which would no doubt be a massive undertaking.

(above) This photo also ran in the April '08 issue of Transworld snow, in a feature story on Argentina. Pow turns 'til the cows come home, cuz why the hell not!?

This photo (above) was run in issues of both Transworld and Future. Some mellow surf style on the tip of a drooping glacier makes it evident that I always daydream about surfing, especially when I'm playing about in the mtns!

The Winter '08 issue of Snowboard Canada was a good one! The above shot is sweet just because it looks like a turtles face in the glacier ice, and furthermore it looks like the turtle is spitting me out of his mouth..tell me you see it!?
and the below photo ran in the photo section of the winter '08 SBC. After this issue came out, Geoff Andruik (photographer) confided in me in LasVegas that this was his favourite frame from the winter, so that was rad to hear.

(above) This is the opening photo in the Playboard 07/08 photo issue. It was a really fun drop.

I will continue to post, rest assured of that.
